Well February was a brutal month. Papers and tests, Valentines Day and work, all with the help of my expert procrastination, have pushed my blogging to the back burner. But don't fret, no I have not forgotten about the great blogosphere. Since I skipped February I will just have to be doubly diligent in March.
Now what you may not know about JahSon is that I am very opinionated. I have my views and I am not afraid to express them. In fact if my view inspire the need in you to express your views in response (whether in the it sheds a positive or negative light on my own ideas) I encourage it. Intellectual expression is how we as a society grow. We must have civil discussions of all topics in order to hear all sides nad get to a well rounded decision/opinion.
Now don't get me wrong if you hear opinionated and think stubborn, then stop right there. By opinionated I don't mean pig headed, I mean that I have a view on just about everything and love to express those views. But don't think of me as a one way thinker, if you have a good point and convince me otherwise my views can change. If I am wrong I will be the bigger man and tell you that you have swayed me.
So today I am going to be opinionated. It being March 3rd, tomorrow two very important primaries go down, Texas and Ohio, and the outcome could determine a Democratic Candidate. Now Barack Obama is my man. I love a man who is not afraid to call for hope and change, especially after the worst 8 years in American political history. Barack (a mixed kid, like yours truly) is currently in the lead with delegates and this is the best thing. As we need change, a break from the corruption of corporate lawyers and lobbyists who now run the country. These people who follow their wallets before they follow their hearts, or even better their constituents. These politicians have been so long in the system that some new blood would be good. Barack is a man of grassroots origins who has fought for civil rights and the empowerment and betterment of the little man, the poor and oppressed. Who better to run the country then someone who is ready and willing to bring the country together in order to better its people.
Barack Obama 2008, a man for change, a man for the people!
Live Life, Love God!
